sophomore advantage or disadvantage

I’m a sophomore right now in sorority rush. Is being a sophomore an advantage or disadvantage? One pi chi said advantage and one said disadvantage so... nice.

Sophomores tend to have more friends in houses, which helps a great deal. If your friends are well placed, it can be a huge advantage. If not, it is not great. Also, sophomores tend to be more confident especially if they went through this last year.

It is sometimes an advantage if you're a sophomore because houses need to meet a certain quota for sophomores/ juniors for the new pledge class so they might need you. It can also be an advantage if you have friends in different sororities so they can swing your way. It can be hard though since most of the girls that are recruiting are sophomores who are looking for littles, meaning they're mostly looking for freshmen.
