gpa for sorority
by: psuSo I know about the 2.5 minimum requirement to rush, but I’m sure most sororities have a higher requirement to become a member. I can’t find any of that info anywhere! Does anyone happen to know which sororities have a higher minimum GPA to become a member!? Also, will they base a lot of rush off of your GPA?

Almost ALL sororities do have a higher GPA to be considered in good standing. That does not mean you cannot be a member. It just means if you do not meet the GPA you will be on probation until your GPA improves, or eventually removed from the chapter. Sororities will look at your GPA during rush, if it is extremely low you will be considered a "risk" to take on. It is impossible to say how this will affect your chances though, just do your best and if they like you enough as a person they will likely give you a bid anyway. Hard to say without knowing how low it is.
