competitive rushing?

I've heard rumors that there will be significantly less people rushing sororities this formal recruitment. How true is this?

Why are there less people rushing ? Is this a good or bad thing? Will COB (Continuous open bidding) be a thing then?

Fewer pnms will make it less competitive. Probably same size pcs, but fewer girls will drop. COB only happens for chapters that don't take quota. So, likely less of this will occur.

Yes PNMs will have a better chance of getting into the sorority they want

There are a lot less girls rushing this year which means it will be more competitive for the sororities than the PNMs
