does gpa matter?
by: freshmanI’m a freshman who’s planning on rushing in the spring. Which frats take your GPA into consideration (assuming you meet the gpa requirement) and which frats are specifically looking for people with relatively higher GPAs?

the other commenter doesn't consider that some houses have a lot of engineering/science majors for which the average GPA is below a 3.0

There is a Greek Affairs website that has a "score card" that shows all IFC/NPC GPAs. The ones listed as "above" are above the all student or all male/female average. The ones listed below are struggling. Since Greek life generally attracts the most successful students, if an organization is below the all student average, beware. Lots of times that is an indication that hazing is taking place and the members are sleep deprived or partying too much. This is a good guide as to which chapters to consider if grades are important.
