what is going on with fall rush

I have heard so many different things. A recruitment chair told me that they'll be holding rush in the fall for everyone but freshman, and someone else said no rush in the fall. Anyone know what the truth is ?

It looks like this:
Sororities-Informal in the fall, which means only certain ones will be partaking. Formal is moved to the spring.
fraternities-I THINK are doing just spring recruitment
