The above link is the recent video of the NIC CEO on CBS This Morning. This was a very good and interesting video that everyone needs to see.

This year alone, schools including Penn State, Loyola University, University of Central Florida and the University of Arizona, have suspended fraternities after hazing allegations. Judson Horras, president and CEO of the North-American Interfraternity Conference, joins "CBS This Morning" to discuss the death of Penn State sophomore Timothy Piazza, the challenges of policing binge drinking at colleges, and the call by some for an end to fraternities on campuses.

The video was hardly "very good and interesting". They barely let him get a word in. He was interrupted and cut off every time he tried to speak. It seemed like they just wanted to lob accusations at him. Awful segment.

He didn't back down or fall into their trap during the interview. Jud remained calm and gave good detailed answers, whether these newscasters liked or not.

Another smoke and mirror response from the NIC. What's funny is that he talks about the NIC and it's 69 member fraternities all having training tools that were in placed in the areas of Risk Management, hazing, underage drinking, etc. to educate and develop their undergraduate members to be aware and to make right decisions. Well here's a news flash....we heard this for the last 30+ years and guess what...IT"S NOT WORKING!!!!!

Exactly. Risk Management should be the TOP PRIORITY in many fraternities and Sororities going forward. However, many Greek chapters across the country lack this training and do not fully understand the importance of Risk Management especially in today's college culture.
