Wondering why ZBTs numbers at PSU are growing?

Zeta Beta Tau is proud to be the first fraternity that abolished pledging.

Zeta Beta Tau’s brotherhood program is known as THE JOURNEY. THE JOURNEY focuses on the lifelong commitment that brothers make to ZBT. We believe brothers need to earn their membership every day.

Pledging was not part of the founding of fraternities; rather it emerged as a practice after World War II. The unnatural dominant/subservient relationship between the brother and the pledge leads to an imbalanced fraternity. This imbalance may lead down a path that can spiral out of control, potentially leading to hazing.

They guys who support hazing are the typical frat Bros that you see in media. Pathetic really. Are so confused about their realities that they think they hazing that they do is okay. So warped into thinking that they need frat and they have to he hazed. Childish.

When most of the national frats were founded, all freshman wore beanie hats and were physically and psychologically hazed.

Let's get back to the days that hazing was wearing beanies. If that were suggested by IFC, I have a feeling that Sims would accept that solution. The physical and mental abuse must stop!!
