by: idkwhat is it like colonizing a sorority? im considering rushing for dphie but i want to know what it would be like socially this year if i did? would fraternities interact with dphie or would we be alone? would we have homecoming or thon partners??

The purpose of joining a sorority is for sisterhood, not for partying. There will be socials but the first year will be more about establishing sisterhood. If you are only concerned with partying than just join ESA. There is also no guarantee you will get into dphie if you rush. There will likely be 500+ girls rushing and they will only take about 200
