I know a lot of people who were devasted and took it to heart when they didn't get in the place they wanted. Now that I was on the other side of rush this semster, I really want to stress to people not to take it personally. We see hundreds of people a day. Chances are it was less about you and more about having people with connections chosen over you or you just not making a super awesome click with the members that made you really stand out, which isn't their fault not yours.
