rushing as a sophomore

i wanna rush as a sophomore but i've heard its harder to get bids? I'm still gonna do it obviously but I'm not trying to get my hopes up, also my gpa is not the best because i messed up first semester (got a lot better so don't come at me with the "u shouldn't be rushing" stuff) so is that likely to decrease any chances too?
