is off campus worth it in the long run?
by: JI want to rush but I heard they haze really bad. If I were to go through pledging I want to know if the end result is worth it!

Pros and cons of off campus
-Pros: parties are fun, most are top organizations, a very social experience, don’t have to follow on campus rules, don’t waste time doing random events, don’t have a GPA cut off, can rush in when in BAP
-Cons: can’t associate with the organization nationally, can’t put it on your resume, will get hazed brutally, legally considered gangs so police may be stricter, not much of a focus on grades (most people in these organizations have typically easy majors)
-Overall Review: if you’re looking to just be in an partying organization for 4 years and don’t mind the future pros on campus may have like connections and resume builders, I would do off campus. Some off campus organizations also may pay less than on campus organizations because they don’t pay for head quarter fees. Both on and off campus have their fair share of pros and cons so I would do an organization you where you feel the most comfortable/feel a connection with the members.

Some of the off campus frats have softer processes. Being off campus doesn’t automatically mean your getting hazed hard
