It depends on the fraternity some fraternities have dues around $300 dollars a semester others are $800+ a semester. You can save money on nationals payments and the 25$ semester fee by pledging an underground fraternity if you are mentally ready for that type of pledging. I have heard of some professional co-ed fraternities having dues as cheap as $100 a semester, but they obviously do not have as many social events or nationals. There is always going to be the people who say greeklife is just "paying for friends", but its paying to do fun stuff with your brothers and the rest of the members in the fraternity are also paying to be your "friend." I feel as if I get more than my value back from my dues.
