letters
by: MichelleCan off campus sororities wear their respective letters like Xi Xi Xi instead of AZD? I’m really interested in pledging and tri xi is really cool but I want to be able to represent not only myself but my sorority as well.

Please consider waiting, the pledging really isn't worth it and you don't have access to things in the larger greek community. People have "tri xi" shirts but you won't see anyone wearing those stitched letters. Also, binghamton greek life is cracking down on off campus organizations and you could get in trouble.

@hi I was pretty interested due to personally knowing a few girls in it and went to a mixer when I visited. They were pretty fun but the more I look into it, the more I’m put off. The hazing isn’t even what bothers me, it’s the reputation. The fact that the school itself doesn’t recognize them is enough for me. I’m sure it may be cheaper as well since it’s not affiliated but I don’t want to waste all of my time on irrelevance.

Dues for on campus sororitys can range from 150-350 a semester depending on which one. Idk how much off campus ones are.

I did and they’re just not for me. Without the last pc there it’s just not the same. I found where I need to be :)

Please do! Honestly, the hazing is scary, horrendous and not worth it. For your own safety, I'd just not bother. I promise you can get the same experience and more from an on campus sorority. What makes you want to join Tri Xi?
