benefits/downfalls of joining a frat?

Many will say the negatives are hazing and such but with my own experience the only negatives was that I didn’t really venture out of my own circle. I mainly socialize with those only in greek life both official and unofficial. It also takes a bit of your time so plan out everything you want to do beforehand.

As for the positives I feel this is one of the best decisions I’ve ever made. I’ve got a brotherhood that has my back and I haven’t had a bad moment yet despite all the negative talk you see on here. It truly depends on who you mix with best. No need to feel uncomfortable if you don’t have to
