Please understand, even if the do recognize the Undergrounds again, the administration will: 1) be in a position to exert greater control over them (at least in terms of intel gathering on them (by possessing member rosters) if not behavioral control, e.g. drinking) and this will weaken and threaten the Greeks, and 2) the administration will use the threat and reality of selective enforcement of University regulations and the law is through sanctioning, recognition, and de-recognition...leaving us right back where we are now. Besides, they have already tried the ‘amnesty’ program with us before, to no avail—we knew better than to trust those snakes. These are truly bad people that neither care nor fight fare. The only constant is their hostility towards us. The problem is systemic rather than procedural or transactional; therefore our solution must be similarly systemic, and transformative: we must form a grand alliance and above all, our own secret intelligence service. Then they will both fear and respect us and focus instead upon negotiating their own political survival, not ours.
