what’s the deal

Kappa Sigma had about one hundred (100) brothers as recently as March 2017, when this information came to me from an executive board member of another then-prominent fraternity. The University now lists them as de-recognized, and their national charter having been revoked. At the peak of the Golden Age of Greek Life at UAlbany no other fraternity ever came close to having such numbers...nor since then. (AEPi had 70-80 brothers; SAE had 60-70 at their peak, around the1994-1995 academic year.). The rise and fall of Kappa Sigma should serve as an ominous wake-up call to all of us: we can all fall—most precipitously—if we allow our Enemies in the administration to persecute us. We must unite—now—and fight back, together, as One...while there are still Greeks left at UAlbany.
