the end is here
by: GOdDamnitHate to say it but this will be the year greek life ends at ALbany. There is anti-greek life attitudes all across the country and more schools are being pressed to get rid of it. Last year so much happened the school has had enough and it's too risky(EXPENSIVE) for them to let Greek life Contine. Mark my world by 2021 the school will no longer regozige or completely droop Greek Life.

Between the current mayor of the City of Albany and the State Liquor Authority, all of the student (read here: underage) bars have been shut down. With the demise of Varsity a couple of years or so ago only The Washington Tavern remains open (sometimes)...and that has gotten stricter with respect to entry. It is a dark time indeed for student life at UAlbany...

Back in 1997 we were ranked third-best party school in the nation; this is what prompted the prolonged and vicious, if sneaky, campaign to eradicate Greek life. Even then, we still won the top ranking as Number-One party school the very next year. It has all been downhill ever since...but we can turn this whole thing around.
