The 5 recognized sororities at UA are alpha xi delta, kappa delta phi, alpha epsilon phi, delta phi epsilon and delta delta sigma. Underground are alph (or AOA) and SXS/SDT whatever they call it and AOPI if they still exist after getting arrested. A few of the benefits of being in an aboveground sorority are that you can put it on your resume and it looks really good because of all the community service, and different events and programs you attend, plus it shows you have leadership skills and you will gain connections with other people in Greek life around the country. Underground sororities are illegal and not recognized by the school so you could get expelled or arrested. You also aren't allowed to say you're in that sorority, wear shirts that say it, post about it, etc.
