In light of these events, UCLA's Afrikan Student Union held a protest Thursday on campus, which attracted hundreds of students. They protested not only what happened at the party but also how they say black culture is perceived on campus. Meantime, the Afrikan Student Union wants the school to come down hard on Sigma Phi Epsilon and Alpha Phi. UCLA has suspended the two houses' social activities.

You CHOOSE to PAY monthly dues to support a NATIONAL organization that tolerates this behavior. Money talks. Would you shop at the local branch of a national store that looked the other way? I think not. Buy hey, it's your money and your reputation. who is the real dummy?!

The allegations at UCLA are unproven. It appears there was a "rush to judgement" in that situation and then spread via rumors.

it really doesn't matter what greek letters they hide behind -- it's the culture of all fraternities -- constantly trying to "exclude" so you can try and make yourself feel superior above all others -- that makes us all sick
