is a sorority. Just kidding, but it might as well be seeing how 1/2 of the old chapters are co-ed under the ADPhi "Society"

Sigma Chi is bigger than SigEp. Sigma Chi was the first one to break the 300,000 member threshold.

People saying SAE, SigEp, DKE are all that matters are dumb. Those people most likely only go to SAE/SigEp because they're open and close to campus. Doubtful they go to DKE, but they just know about it because it was founded at Yale and GBush was a member. Top tier frats are AdPhi and dke -- the rest aren't frats they're friends hanging out that feel like having a formalized association. If you're a true boy you know this

Top Tier: ADPhi, DKE

Mid Tier: SAE, SigEp, SigNu

Lower Tier: whatever else is a frat?

By: you guys are idiots

Alpha delta phi fraternity and the alpha delta phi society are one in the same you dumb Schyte. The "sister" of alpha delta pi society use. The same ritual, learn the same songs and history as well as the handshake and secret meaning of the motto. If it walks like a duck quacks like a duck and looks like a duck then it's an F-in' duck. Dke will never let one of its chapters go coed or become a coed "society".

No technically they aren't one in the same. They are deprecate legal entities and have no formal ties. Still, I agree, they should not have come to an agreement with that first chapter that decided to go coed and should have just yanked their charter. ADPhi Society shows why you should avoid founding a chapter at Brown.

Separate

ADPhi and the society are completely separate. adphi international does not associate with or assist the society...completely separate management structure and organization composed largely of ex-chapters that were forced to go coed because of their school. the only share some rituals and traditions because many were chapters when their respective schools put those laws into place. they are not chartered under the international convention. society members are not considered or recognized as brothers and aren't part of conventions and internationls

The first chapter to do it was Brown, and they did it of their own volition, along with several other schools that didn't force coed status. ADPhi nationals should have pulled recognition

I highly doubt that, DKE still has a charter with their nationals and their nationals doesn't allow coed chapters.

Also even if the guys considered a girl a member I can assure you DKE national's didn't allow her to be initiated.

It's been said before, but DKE, SigEp, and SAE (in no particular order -- they're all quite different) are definitely the top three/most popular fraternities at Yale.
