strong opinions on greek life? email this yale author

by:

There's a post last night in the 18k member Yale Alumni Facebook group about the role of Greek Life at Yale. Lots of alums from the 80s think Greek Life barely exists and don't understand the new lawsuit against Yale frats.

Robbins is a Yale alum who has written bestsellers like Fraternity: Inside the Look at a Year of College Boys Becoming Men as well as other books about sororities and Skull & Bones (Google her).

She just commented in the thread that she's going to be speaking to the media about Yale Greek Life and the lawsuit very soon. I know she's legit because her Facebook account is verified with a blue check. She offered her email: robbinsbooks (at) gmail (dot) com and is looking for current Yale students to provide perspectives.

Given this is Greek Rank...yeah, you guys have strong thoughts. Use a disposable email if you want to stay anonymous. I think it's important to share our perspective. I just did!

Yeah she's speaking on the lawsuit so I think it would be best to share your inputs.

It is about time someone change the paradigm on sororitys and frats here at Yale. It is so dysfunctional and against everything we desire to promote in this world. We have to walk the talk.

Everything "we" desire? Are you saying you want everyone to think alike? This is why Ivies are not the best universities anymore.

Great professors, but no diversity of opinion. Or even thinking for oneself.
