I am about to be a senior at Yale so I know the Greek life scene. This post is for all the freshmen who want the lowdown before Camp Yale.
Kappa - mostly considered the nicest or most genuine sorority. Has a nice house on Park st. Kind of is in a bubble separate from the other 3. Mostly mixes with Chi Psi or Aepi.
Theta - oldest, most alumni money/legacies, so-so sisterhood (depends on the girls you’re friends with.) Nicest house/best location (next to Sigep). Mostly associates with Sigep. Lots of New England prep school girls and well-known girls in every pledge class.
Aphi - newest sorority, sisterhood/authenticity is perhaps questionable since it really depends on the cliques. Chill girls next door but then also more entitled girls. Kind of a wild card but not in a bad way. They have a new house that also looks nice, on Edgewood. Mostly associates with Leo
Pi Phi - gets a lot of girls from sports teams and California/southern girls. Probably the best sisterhood and the most typical “sorority” vibe all around. Supposedly getting a new house this year since last year they didn’t have one, will most likely be near Lake place near the sports frats. Mostly associates with Sig Nu.
Have fun getting to know girls in all 4 sororities during the first semester :)

No it's just that they're the oldest sorority and have the most legacy. So that attracts similar types of girls (old money etc)
Why is Greekrank so misogynistic and thinks everything depends on a frat. Theta is honestly more "top tier" than sigep. They don't need Sigep to be cool, the girls themselves are cool.

Theta has the best location, Aphi has the best interior. But in all honesty Aphi is great but no one compares to theta overall

Kappa is the only one that is truly known for being "nice girls next door." Take that as you will. But people seem to agree that Pi Phi has a stronger sisterhood than Theta/APhi.
