how much does being in a prestigious sorority (like pi phi for example) help with society tap? should we put it on our society resumes?

Absolutely no help being in a sorority. The president of two sorority did not get tapped into a society. One created her own the other did YSI. Like no offense but societies are not like "ooo I want a girl in Theta and another girl in Pi Phi" they pick you for you.

If all you do here is being in a sorority (like pi phi for example) and bullying other women on this website then your fun will definitely end with societies & the real world

people on here should stop spreading lies. everyone knows that most people in pi phi get taps. a pi phi line on the resume or in an interview is a huge plus for most social groups at yale, especially societies.

This like... isn’t true. People aren’t chosen BECAUSE they are in pi phi (or any other sorority). It helps if you are FRIENDS with someone in a powerful society because you met them throug pi phi, because they can vouch for you, but just being in the sorority doesn’t give any one person an edge over another.
