psa: don't suck up to your senior friends for society
by: scxs
We all know those juniors who, around this time of year, begin to suck up to their senior friends/acquaintances in order to get that coveted society tap. Well, don't do it, and don't let that be you. Society isn't that great, and unless you're in skull and bones, it's not very serious (even skull and bones isn't that serious). It's just a social outlet, and it's nothing more.
Besides, if you don't know if a senior will tap you yet, they probably won't. Each senior gets one tap, and they won't use it on an acquaintance.

good advice, here's more: don't worry about it too much. having gone through it and stressed about it last year, I see how inconsequential society was on my senior year. don't get me wrong- tap night and some activities are fun and worthwhile, but society should be like 1% of senior year at most.
