great group of girls, but it's an odd conglomerate. seems to be pretty divided in terms of what people are expecting from a sisterhood. but yeah like below, their social media presence is aggressive AF

some of my friends joined because they felt like they needed a new social outlet, but they don't really see it as anything other than a way to get into frats. they definitely have potential, but still aren't quite up to the standards of the three original sororities. they'll be lucky if they get a good pledge class. if they really want to improve, they should focus less on their social media image and more on actual sisterhood.

AN HONEST EVALUATION: So there are these 3 sophomores who feel the most "sorority" out of all the sophomores. I think two of them were like best friends and then this blonde chick joined in to make this triad. And then there is this whole Pierson gang of sophomores who are INCREDIBLE and super sweet, but they've said themselves they aren't really "sorority." Many of them are not really party-types, which I honestly thinks holds Alpha Phi back. And then the rest of the sophs are really random and add nada

75% of the sophomores: "I'm not really a party-type girl but I kind of want to be in a sorority...hmmm why don't I join Alpha Phi?" 25% of the sophomores: "I'm actually social and connected but I'm not in Theta or Pi Phi. Why don't I join Alpha Phi so I can mix with my guy friends in frats and get to know some new sophomores?"

Most of the claims made below are just blatantly false. Alpha Phi has been involved on campus, has mixed with many sororities and most of the girls have great relationships with both frat guys and girls in other sororities. All the girls have been bonding with each other and actually making efforts to get to know each other on a deeper level. Also the whole "other girl joining every week" or whatever is something all new chapters do to make campus quota...

A sorority without mixers is like....not a sorority. I mean then its just sisterhood bonding events like baking cake. I think we should attempt to refrain from NOT mixing with frats. mixing is important
