not really involved with other groups, keep to themselves, try really hard to be "alternative," ; only offering bids to the "interesting weird" kids on campus. Not really a frat, moreso just another club. Nice that it's co-ed tho.

They need a reality check... fake-woke people who think being in Fence makes them exempt from the evils of Greek life. I agree with the below posts. Their rush process is shallow and they even do crush like frats/sororities. If you're gonna talk the talk then walk the walk

points about rush are fair-- still an exclusive institution. not sure how having a formal event is part of the evils of greek life, tons of organizations here. primary reason people argue its "better" are the fact that lower and flexilble dues mean its able to be WAY more socio-economically diverse than ANY other social group; gender inclusiveness means it isn't a male dominated space. if you're gonna critique critique things that are relevant

just don't call yourself "not a frat" bc your recruitment tactics, crushes, etc. are all like those of a sorority/frat.
