when I went to Elon my friends who were pledging sigma would come home crying and were scared to death of their older sisters. They would study all day and all night everything about their older sisters and would have to repeat on command. This was the year sigma had to keep their door open during all sorority gatherings and were almost kicked off campus ....

I've heard sigmas pledging are forced to walk around campus with at least 3 other sigmas while pledging I heard they made them buy a ton of junk food and only gave them one hour to eat it I've heard varying messed up stories about how they conduct their big little reveals and just big little relationships in general and I have heard a few of just lots of getting yelled at and being forced to line up when they get called to the on campus house in the middle of the night and even being made to line up while they're having mixers with fraternities and them getting screamed at

Sigma was falsely accused of hazing when ZETA called the hazing hotline on them, so all of those stories are just that: stories

Sigma absolutely hazes. Though I will agree the severity of it has decreased, it absolutely happens. They are known as the cult sorority for a reason.
1) they make their pledges do wall squats and have to finish chugging a bottle of champagne before falling. If they fail, another bottle is added to the line up.
2) they scream at their pledges over everything.
3) you are forced to memorize information and will be hazed if you don't know it
4) you have to be with another sister any time you go into public during the pledge period. They will walk you to class and to other locations. (Some frats do this too)
