sophomore rushing

How uncommon is it to rush sophomore year? I am transferring as a soph and really want to join a sorority but am apprehensive because i've heard sophomores are more likely to get cut

Less common but it still happens. I rushed my sophomore year even though I was really nervous about it, just to try it out, and it ended up being 100% the best decision that I have ever made. I don't know what I would do without the girls that I have met through my organization, and it would have been the biggest mistake if I had missed out on that just because I was nervous about seeming weird for going through as a sophomore. Its cool too because I am able to have gotten close with both the girls in my pledge class and the girls that are in my year

I'd say the only way you're going to get a bid of a sophomore is because you know a lot of girls already or if you're a sophomore
