Yeah you get ranked on a scale for how much they liked you and how good of a fit you will be. They do not talk to other organizations. You also have a say on who you want, but that doesn't matter unless the sorority asks you back.
If you like one more than another, and they both ask you back, that's when your decision counts.

Voting is secret for each organization and each one is looking for different things. There is almost nothing a pnm can do other than be herself, be friendly and be honest with yourself on where you think you will fit in the best. The girls who fake it to be in top tiers usually end up miserable.

Sororities just rank you with how much they think you'll fit into their organization you honestly will think you're going to fit into so many of them, but they know the type of girl that will best fit into their organization. That is why you're supposed to trust the system and go through the whole week, trusting that you're getting called back to the houses that you'll fit into the most. Just be yourself and you will find your place in Elon's greek life, even if it is not where you think you'll be. If you don't find your place in greek life then that is totally fine too! Elon has hundreds of amazing organizations that you can become a part of!

Don't be yourself. Be who you want to be. If you get into a new sorority you will have 3 years or more to become a better person.

What if after rush week I really want to be in one specific sorority and they want me as well but another sorority gives me more skill points and ranks me higher. Will I get a final bid from them and not the one I want?
