What did everyone think of house tours? I thought all houses seemed really great

That's because all the houses at Elon are great! Keep an open mind when going through recruitment and you'll end up where you're supposed to be!

They were great, But I'd rather live in my own place with a couple of friends. That's my preference. I'd make my own choices on decorating and I would feel more like an adult.
Still 1 year in 1 of those Houses would be a great experience and way to figure out who I get along with for later.
