how do fraternities deal with legacies?

by:

I'm considering a few fraternities I have relatives at, and I was wondering how each fraternity on campus deals with someone who has "legacy". I would prefer not to name the fraternities, but if it really makes a huge difference, I can.

honestly for frats they do not really care if you were a legacy unless you have an actual family member currently in their chapter

We care about legacies as far as the fact that we will make an effort to reach out to you and get to know you. I.E. inviting you to a pre-game or ask to chill or something. From there on it's all you. If we like you, you'll get invited back, if we don't, you won't. At this stage in the game, with rush next week, your "legacy card" should already have been used. Seeing that you're a legacy on your frat resume when we are doing voting (unless it is a recent chapter member like mentioned above) really makes no difference.
