blacklisted

Has anyone actually been blacklisted? like do you have to do something pretty extreme for that to occur?

Blacklisting someone is something done at the discretion of the sorority do you really think people would post that on this website and make girls feel uncomfortable walking into a house?

sororities will blacklist you if they perceive you as someone who is going to ruin a sorority's reputation and embarrass them, or they perceive you as someone who could potentially get their organization in trouble with nationals or shana and they don't want any part of that. it happens. there isn't some list posted on their door of girls who they blacklist though. you learn about it only from word to mouth.

for instance i'd definitely say that the infamous pictures circulating around elon this semester is definitely going to cause a few sororities to side eye and think about whether they want those sorts of actions to tarnish the reputation of their organization.

Basically don't make an ass out of yourself. That freshman erica whose naked rush pics got passed around all over elon recently was definitely blackballed by more than one sorority. No organization wants to be associated with those types of actions.

you have to screw up really bad and really make a bad name for yourself to get blackballed. if you're the talk of the entire freshman class, the sororities and frats are going to know. nobody wants someone who has a ton of baggage.
