friends
by: Not rushingI have decided not to rush and all of my friends are. Will they stop hanging out with me if I'm not in a sorority? Will the sororities not want them to hangout with me?
#1 by: Maybe
They will probably still hang out with you. But you will need to be supportive, and very understanding that they will instantly have 100+new friends that will want to hang out with them and get to know them. Their schedules will also be filled with activities and may not be around very much. Many Greeks are friends with non Greeks. But your friendships will be stressed for a good 6 weeks. If I were you, I would start seeking out others who aren't going through recruitment so you will have additional people to be social with.

Yea I agree that's the hardest part after recruitment is the pledging not because anyone hazes but because some sororities require a lot from their new members and have things planned for hours every night and don't aren't allowed to drink or go out for those 6 weeks do it gets hard with feeling left out so definitely find other people that are choosing to remain independent
