Can our elon GPA help or hurt us in the rush process? or is it just used to make sure we meet the requirement for rush?

The answer is: it depends. All sororities vote differently. And voting on pnms is private and secret to each organization.

1. It's used to make sure you meet the requirements for rush.
2. Like the above said, every organization votes differently, generally if you have a solid GPA you should be fine.

Once again, the gap is necessary for recruitment but different organizations put a different focus of GPA. Some of the organizations that are higher academically would put a higher focus on GPA. Others do not. But GPA is never a sole reason to get dropped. You can have a great personality, great conversations, and a not so great GPA and still get a bid.

Which organizations put more of a focus on gpa? And what is considered a good gpa when it comes to recruiting girls based off of that?

Basically the same answer as a person below. Its hard to get an answer because this is part of membership selection. Every organization is different and they'll keep it a secret.

I don't think you are going to get a lot of answers since you are treading on membership selection. And a pnm who is awesome at conversation, presentable, and seems like a great person with a 2.9 usually does better than a sucky blah person with a 4.0. Will you get cut for lower than a 3.0- maybe. But wouldn't you rather a sorority invite you back because of you and not for your grades?
