by: AOIIWill someone tell me more about AOII? I really like the girls that I have met but I'm not sure about the sorority as a whole.

Popular this year. Don't get me wrong, the girls are really cool. But it seems like every other year there's all this hype about them for getting a better pledge class. Last years pledge class was above average for them, but like 10 girls in the class considered dropping/actually dropped. They just don't do much involvement wise. They make a commitment to be at events, they don't show. They don't wear letters often or advertise so many people didn't even know they were a sorority last year. Overall, great girls. They go really hard (maybe a little too hard). But at the end of the day, as history shows, they'll probably get another mediocre pledge class and the hype will be gone

Last year they didn't come to IFC dodgeball or sig chi derby days and they signed up to do both

Very true about the Sig Chi derby days. I'm not sure if they didn't show up or didn't make a good showing, but I know some sig chi's who really complained about how rude that is.

The earlier post didn't say 10 de-sistered. They said 10 either did or really considered it. While 10 might be an exaggeration, I do know of more than 2 girls in the spring pledge class who went to their pledge mom and talked about desistering.

Yea they got some good girls last year and they're trying to make it look like they're an involved sorority but that's not true they aren't involved and overall the sorority isn't cohesive a few good girls cannot change the entire sorority they're still bottom tier

Who are you to say the girls should have gone to other orgs? How can you truely rate any girls happiness in any organization unless you ask them?
