kd???
by: curiousI haven't heard much about KD, whats their deal? They seem to be lower middle tier but I hear really mixed things about them.

Lower-middle tier is accurate. Around the same as AOII. They had really diverse groups and used to be more cliquey but it seems the last two pledge classes have been solid. Pretty involved, good GPAs, some are really attractive and some are just weird. Definitely improving over the last few years (they've only been around for like 4 or 5 years) but still are not as strong as some of the other middle tier orgs. Lots of potential, though.
#2by: Still a clique problem
#4by: Not new
I wish people would stop saying that their new. They aren't new anymore. They've been on campus since January 2011. They are the last established chapter, but they aren't "new". KDs at Elon are either awesome, sweet, fun girls or downright weird/awkward. They use the "we're new" excuse for the strange girls in their chapter. Overall they are ok. Somewhere around AOPi and SK.

They had some cool girls a few years back when they were new and had a decent chance to be an alright chapter pretty quickly but a few bad recruiting years blew that and now its going to take them a long time to rise in the ranks. Likely doomed to be the bottom worst or second worst sorority over time because the alure/prospect of social climbing due to being new is gone

Well I think they're a great organization! Two of my best friends went KD and they enjoy it! They're a growing organization and they've really improved. I'd put them on level with AOII, a little higher than Sigma Kappa and definitely higher than AXO. Still not Delta or AZD level though.
#9by: dropping
The cool girls they had all graduated or dropped (and yes dropped not gone inactive). Also lots of drama because of the variety of girls they have recruited. They struggle creating traditions and being a united sisterhood because all of their personalities clash. Starting to drop to bottom tier. Also interesting how whenever something not great gets posted there's an immediate positive response...

Pretty sure that's called "inactive" I asked one of my roommates and she said that upperclassman haven't dropped, but some do go inactive for credit reasons and being seniors, not for drama. My roommate this year seems to really enjoy KD and her friends are all really nice, so I don't think they'res too much drama
