Is it normal for sophomores to go through recruitment? Or would it be awkward if I did? I really want to join a sorority and I'm very open minded about it all, but I'm afraid I missed my chance when I decided not to go through recruitment last year.

It isn't weird at all! If you go through recruitment you'll be surprised to find yourself surrounded by a ton of sophomores.

I would definitely go through! There are more than a few sophomores who do it. I will warn you that certain orgs get so weird about sophomores and will drop you just because of that (which is stupid) , so you might have lesser orgs ask you back because of that. But if you're interested in a sisterhood then if you really fit they'll love you regardless of your year at elon!
