I agree. I understand them wanting the same status as other groups. However, they do not seem to have done anything to earn it. Smacks of entitlement even by Elon standards.
No one will like you or want to hang out with you for years at this rate.

It absolutely matters how they got on campus. There are other organizations that did not get on by the same standard and will not get on now that they have a spot. You're an idiot. The Fraternity to Sorority ratio is awful and I would not have voted for AEPi to be the only explansion of Greek life on the men's side.
