@ incoming freshmen: sorority drama is stupid.

quarantine is leaving people with waaaay too much time on their hands and nothing better to do than check this site.
to the incoming freshman: ignore the bad reviews on every sorority's page. they come from jealous girls who want to make their own org look better by tearing others down. the nice ones seem to be more genuine although sometimes you do have to look out for self ranking. however, for the most part the positive reviews are much more honest than the negative ones.
Also... more than half of the drama stirred on greekrank is from some random outsider who just wants to see two orgs fight- I doubt they're actually even in either of them. so take all of this drama with a grain of salt.
you will be happy in whatever org you end up in. "tier" is objective and really doesn't matter.

You want me to ignore all the bad reviews, because they are lies and fake news. Ok, where have I heard that before?
I am glad my brother went to Elon and I talked to his gf about sorority life. This site is drama, but I know that a lot of it is true, because I asked. This is a large part of Greek life at Elon, but if I get in the sorority I want I know I will avoid a lot of this. It's the same groups over and over in the nonsense and they are already on the bottom of my rush list.
But thanks for your "everything is cake and rainbows" advice...

people come on here way more to tear other orgs down than they do to hype themselves up, maybe with the exception of 1 or 2 sororities. i guarantee most of the negative reviews are fake. the positive reviews are much more likely to be the real ones.

coming from someone actually in a sorority here... sweetie sit down. you know nothing. i’m not trying to say that there isn’t drama. but the posts here are anon so they could be coming from ANYONE. including some random girl like you who thinks she has a say in sorority life despite not having experienced it or elon at all yet.
