^ the off campus scene is the future of Elon. Connie book wants to remove most of the on campus fraternities because they are liabilities. Most will be gone five years from now. Fraternities can survive off campus with the right management.

There will always be fraternities at Elon if they are smart and not out of control. The off campus experiment is new to Elon but if you look at other colleges the model is unsustainable. Funny how all the on campus fraternities catch a lot of hate on this site obviously threatening to some. PKP is making it work but they are the exception for now. The others are doomed particularly when they lose party houses next year. No party house = no off campus party group.. Elon is already putting the pressure on the landlords to affect change.

Yea man!! Beta, KA, DU, Sig Ep, Sig Chi, Sig Pi, ZBT all suck and don’t know how to party like the cool off campus frat stars. We also know how to treat woman and have bright futures ahead of us..

Some of you people are living in the past. The incoming kids are a different caliber student and don’t party as hard in general. Elon is attracting applicants with different priorities from all over the country. Don’t underestimate Connie .. Greek Like is changing and the fraternities that can balance between studying hard and partying will have a future at Elon. There will probably always be at least 1 and possibly 2 off campus fraternities but that is the cap. My vote is OPK will stick around.

OPK will be the only off campus cohort standing in the future. Beta’s work hard and party/pledge like not an idiot mentality is the future of geek life. I see others following their lead in terms of new fraternities at Elon ... times are changing - adapt or get booted and replaced .
