ON CAMPUS
Sig chi: classic frat star type, been undisputed top for last 2 years but party’s were lame and infrequent in the fall and their spring rush class was small and not great so that likely won’t stay the case. That being said they’re going to stay a staple at the top for the foreseeable future. These guys are a fun time for sure

KA: “southern frat” is their national rep but most of these kids are from the north east. Similar to sig chi but definitely more rough around the edges. Have a history of being pretty reckless I honestly don’t know how they’re still on campus. Party’s are great and the guys are a lot of fun but for the past 2 years they can’t get a day drink going for their life. Kinda always been top but have gone through periods where they are less relevant than others, they are on a really good track from what I can see

Sig Ep: every girl goes through her sig ep phase. Probably the best looking frat on campus.. kinda known as the pretty boys but honestly in my experience they’re just not as fun or cool as Sig Chi, KA, Kappa Sig, OPK or lambda. Have higher GPA requirements and care about things other than social life. They get a bad wrap With guys because they don’t haze. Kinda lack brotherhood. Middle tier

Beta: kinda new to campus but have done a good job of rising through the ranks fairly fast. Really sweet boys but clearly just a completely different breed from the Sig Chi, KA, Kappa Sig, Lambda. opk crowd. They mix more with lower and bottom tier sororities. Middle tier

ZBT: I never went through a ZBT phase so i can’t speak with authority here. I’d imagine it’s like beta but who knows someone feel free to chime in

Every other on campus frat is very irrelevant and kind of a joke

OFF CAMPUS

Kappa sig: I’d say kappa sig, KA, and Sig chi are all kinda the same flavor but if KA is more rough around the edges, kappa sig is Fairfield county boarding school types (I mean every frat is like that but them more than anyone else). A lot of people are sayin their middle but they’re delusional and are definitely top, let’s not kid ourselves.

Lambda: used to me known as the muscle head fraternity that was super Broey but is kind of struggling these days. They gave out a lot of bids and didn’t have a great bid to accepted bid ratio this year and between last year and this year have basically lost all their relevant houses. Still top But probably most at risk for falling into irrelevance in the coming years.

Old Pi Kapp: these guys wrote the book on how to thrive off campus And aren’t going anywhere . They’ve managed to pull some really cool guys and are probably the best day drink frat at Elon By far. Top tier

Sigma Chi is on probation. They want people to think they are not throwing parties at the usual spots. You clearly were not invited, Miss I Had a Phase with Every Frat.

Kappa Sig is not top tier, nor is Phi Mu. Get real.

All top tier SRATS LOVE LOVE LOVe sig Chi. Honestly- hot pc out of all the frats this year. All the others are haters....

This is completely skewed and flawed. Go around and test the waters yourself. You’ll find a place that feels like home. I’m in an on campus fraternity but i’m not gonna sell it to you. You’ll have a whole semester to test it out. I don’t recommend going to off campus organization if you’re wanting a legacy and connections after college. They also aren’t fraternities, more just a club for drinking and no community service.

Go to another school bro. Elon is nothing more than “I peaked in high school” crowd. I wish I would have gone to a big D-1 school with cool kids and a degree with tradition behind it. However, if you are truly looking for high school 2.0 then coming to Elon is the move.

Sig chi-cool guys, that sometimes try a little too hard, great parties on a downhill trend though because of a small pc and losing houses. Def Still top tier.
KA- cool guys, fun parties had a massive bounce back with the best pc on campus this year. They have always been top tier but Trending upwards for sure.
Sig ep- The cool nice guys fun parties and fun guys in general but, they lack brotherhood. And do not get respect from other frats.
Beta- Really smart kids definitely middle tier somewhat relevant.
Zbt-Genuine guys that are really nice not as cool or fun as the top tier frats.
Kap sig- cool guys, off campus as of this year have super fun parties. Have a rep for being rich kids.
OPK-Thriving off campus which is somewhat hard to do, have fun parties. Definitely doing the best of the off campus frats. Top tier for sure.
Lambda-Had a cool PC this year great parties cool guys for the most part. Prolly the most likely to fade into irrelevance but their going steady for now.
