are girls in top tier sororities more miserable?

I’ve been seeing some comments on this site about how some girls choose to join middle tier sororitys to avoid the misery that comes along with a more “superficial”, appearance based sisterhood. I’m not in a sorority so idk if there’s any truth to this... what do y’all think?

Top tier has awful sisterhood. Not one of my friends loves their top tier sorority. If they haven't dropped yet it’s solely for status.

I am in the Toppest Tier sorority and I hate it. I wish I was in a middle tier or bottom tier. It's true, because I typed it here.
