frat change at elon

Is the notion of fraternities at Elon changing? I am a freshman and was on the border for joining a frat, but now I'm not sure I want to. Is it worth joining a frat if it is just going to get kicked off in a year or two. Where else is there to party besides frat houses once they are all kicked off?

Fraternities that are smart about partying and follow the rules will always exist at Elon. It is the fraternities that are indifferent and careless that are booted and eventually become irrelevant. The so called tiers will always move and shift accordingly.
