I think these ranks pretty much sum up Elon fraternities in the next year or so with some additional shifting thereafter. Off campus groups have no future at Elon after a few years evident in recent trends. Helicopter parents are asking little Johnnie "what are you doing and with whom? Ah, nor sir - join a campus fraternity with an alumni base and network"

I would venture to say the future IS joining off campus drinking clubs because of how poorly the school treats its on campus fraternities.

at the end of the day its sig chi, pi Kapp, lambda, kappa sig, ka. no debating it whether or not they're off or on campus. best parties, hottest girls, most popular among sororities.

The ongoing squeeze on off campus groups is Elon pressing the local land lords not to rent properties to them. One by one their off campus houses will change occupancy and the off campus groups become more irrelevant. Elon will win in the end - too much money and influence in town.
