So imma freshman here and haven't been invited to any frat parties. does that mean I won't be able to join a frat in spring?

No you can still rush in the spring, but you’ll have a harder time getting a bid if you don’t go to any of the parties, because you won’t know any of the brothers at rush.

Go to darties and meet brothers there, then u will start getting texts.
