I’m not in beta so here’s my two cents: it’s a middle tier fraternity, and although it’s new to campus it’s on the rise along with the other mid tiers. It’s a good organization in a lot of ways, they’re involved with community service and theyre generally good guys. But some of them are just plain weird. The other thing is, they’re not a real fraternity because they have no pledging and too many members, so no brotherhood. They don’t know each other. If you’re looking for an easy fraternity to join so you can tell your boys back home that you’re in a southern fraternity, betas the move, but if you want brotherhood and a real Greek experience, look elsewhere.

Just kinda there. No props either way. BTW, per above post no one considers Beta a Southern Fraternity (here or elsewhere). Founded in Ohio at Miami.

If you are looking for the full experience then you should look elsewhere.

Seem to be somewhat popular among girls. But beta will stay middle tier due to their lack of strong brotherhood and easy pledging. ZBT and New Pi Kapp will rise above beta soon and that’s where you should look if you want the full fraternity experience. All the “Top 5” are very full of themselves and bound to get kicked off soon.
