Which fraternity has the most brothers from south the Mason Dixon line?

None of them. Do you go to Elon?

Students come from 41 states, the District of Columbia and 32 countries. The top ten represented states are:

NC 17%
MA 11%
NJ 10%
NY 8%
CT 8%
PA 7%
MD 7%
VA 6%
FL 3%
GA 3%

So #1 state and #8-10 are southern states. But how many are in Greek life?

Actullally 7 -10 are southern states (MD is below the Mason Dixon line) NC apparently sends the most students to Elon. I think ? Is asking does one fratentity have more southern kids than others?

Found this site looking up my old fraternity at Elon . Sigma Chi and Sigma Pi were mostly guys from Maryland / VA
who played club lacrosse (some TKE ‘s off campus did as well). Sigma Chi also had a good number of soccer players. Sig Ep was a lot of kids from NJ (kinda of the meat head fraternity and had the most Elon athletes: baseball, football and soccer). KS had a good mix of kids from all over including NC, VA and FL (they actually had a lot of football players) Lambda and Pi Kapp were just getting started .. KA was solid and actually did have a lot of southern kids. One thing is for sure the fratentity mix is forever changing on college campuses these days. Enjoy your time at Elon !!

Impossible to tease this out. All of Elon’s fraternities have students from all over. No way to determine. Why is this relevant?

Elon frats are Yankee city. Full of Yankee accents, heavy cologne, tank tops and hair gel. Don’t go to Elon looking for cool southern dudes. They don’t exist here. Douchers everywhere.

Maryland is a Yankee state. Period. End of story. It was not a part of the great Confederacy.

Basically, the takeaway is that all the frats are the same. A rando mix of guys from the east coast who couldnt buy into anywhere else. A real bunch of try hard wannabes
