tell me more about delta delta delta and tri sigma
by: vibesy tumblr gorl 35hi im an incoming freshman and based off of what ive heard and how i am as a person and the instagrams i think i would like to be in sigma sigma sigma or delta delta delta. can u guys tell me more about the vibes of these sororitys and the sisterhoods and if theres hazing or not and basically what i can expect. also maybe tell me other sororitys that are similar that i should look at? thanks a lot angels xoxo 👼🏼👼🏼👼🏼

Tri Delta used to be the girl next door types, but lately, they seem to be rebranding. Unlike other sororities, this rebranding has been super successful. Now, they still are very well rounded (academically, looks wise, athletically, socially), but are starting to cater more to partiers. Super fun, bubbly girls that have a very strong and supportive sisterhood.
Tri Sigma, on the other hand, has been known as the BIG PARTY SORORITY on campus for years. They're known for going out a lot and being a fun time. These girls as a whole are probably slightly less academically oriented, but there are always exceptions. They have a very tight knit sisterhood, are known to be very outgoing and funny, and have a very chill and unique vibe to them.

Delta recruits gingers who do lots of philosophy.

i think theres more gingers in sigmas pc 18 than there is in deltas pc 18..... also i know of maybe three gingers max out of like 60 girls in each pc they mainly take the blondes and pretty brunettes that zeta and sigma haha

You can’t really tell what a sorority is like based on their Instagram. They all try to create the same image: pretty, trendy, carefree girls, regardless of whether or not that is true. With that said, tri sig and tri delt are two verrrrry different sororitys. Sigma is known for having girls who party really hard and try to have the whole “edgy” vibe going. Delta girls don’t go out nearly as much and they try to have the whole “girls next door” vibe. But these are just stereotypes and there are girls of every type in each sorority. You can’t really know for sure till you rush

true for the most part except the delta sophomores and freshmen are absolutely wild. delta juniors and seniors are v v v different though and dont go out as much
