elon needs another org
by: It’s timeFor years, the number of girls going through recruitment has multiplied and the number of women who are fully released from the process has too. So many women enter recruitment hoping to find a supportive group of empowering women and are told the next morning none of those women wanted them. Most of this is solely because of numbers. Only so many women can get bids when there are only nine organizations. A new sorority needs to be brought to campus because there are girls looking for a spot and opportunity in a community. Not giving these girls an actual shot just continues to push the exclusivity of Greek Life on campus. It’s time to give all women at Elon a real shot at the sorority experience.

As a representative of the cis-gender white male tribe, I believe this is correct. There should be 3 Greek women begging for us at all times. We are the future.

Elon has already allowed three fraternities to either start new (Beta) or return to campus (Pi Kapp April 2018 and Sigma Pi in April 2019) Both Pi Kapp and Sigma Pi were kicked off campus for hazing.

Why does anyone care if Elon sanctions it? They kick off frats every year. Clearly they don't care about fostering Greek life, but making sure everyone "behaves" to their standard.

We need another Nationally recognized “rock star” sorority here in addition to AXΩ, ΔΔΔ, and ΚΔ

We need to mobilize to add a sorority within the next two years. It is probably too late to have a new one established for 2020 rush.

this truly embodies how we should all be the change we want to see in the world. get signatures of unaffiliated women that would be interested in colonizing a new sorority here. i think it'd be great if we got an alpha phi, delta gamma, or kappa alpha theta here on campus!!!!! once you go to Elon with a list of around 40-50+ girls maybe we can get something done
