i didn’t rush

Hi all. So I did not go through the recruitment process but all my friends did. At the time I didn’t think this would be a problem but it seems that all my friends have dropped me. How do I still be involved if I’m not in a sorority? Can I still get invited to mixers with my friends who are in a sorority or do I have to be in one?

Maybe very rarely ..But I would assume that is the exception rather than a rule. Mixers, date parties, formals are the social aspects of sorority life and they are earned through financial dues and service/campus involvement. If they just let anyone into these functions, there is no
Incentive to do the work.

Of course you can still hang out with your Greek friends but no, you can not get invited/go to mixers. The whole point of mixers is for frats and sororities to “mix” and you are not in a sorority.
